Domeland has enjoyed success in Australian racing for more than 25 years, from the deeds of Group One-winning star Northern Drake in the late-1990s through to the victory of Attractable in the $3 million Big Dance at Randwick in 2023. With the purchase of well-bred yearlings and the expansion of its broodmare band, Domeland has emerged in recent seasons as one of the most prominent stables in Australian racing. Under the guidance of Head Trainer Nacim Dilmi, Domeland places the care of its horses at the centre of all that they do, mixing innovation with traditional training methods to produce exceptional results.
Head trainer Nacim Dilmi joined Domeland after eight years working alongside James Cummings at global racing giant Godolphin, where he held numerous senior roles as part of their Australian private training operation. French-born Dilmi began his racing career as a jockey before moving to Australia in 2009, honing his craft under the likes of Hall of Fame Legends Bart Cummings and Gai Waterhouse. During his time at Godolphin, Dilmi helped guide the careers of some of the country’s best horses of recent years, including Cox Plate champion Anamoe, two-time Australian Cup hero Cascadian, and multiple Group 1-winning sprinter Bivouac.
